We are almost at the end of a seven week lent course based on the seven chapters of C.J. Mahaney’s excellent, easy to read, book The Cross Centered Life. I have been asked to make my materials available on-line for others to use. Everything is linked below with explanatory notes.
Course members were asked to spend around 10-15 minutes each week reading and taking notes on each chapter. Course members would bring their notes to the course which they would use in group discussion. We did this last year at my old church in small groups. The notes can be used on their own in this way. This year, the sessions mixed discussion, singing, prayer and teaching from the front. My powerpoint files and talk notes are at the bottom of the page.
