Church structure and ministry made simple

What is the local church trying to achieve and how do we achieve it? This diagram attempts to simplify church life (click on the picture for higher definition). I used the diagram at yesterday’s APCM (AGM). For a healthy, vibrant, growing church, the three areas of church life must be in place around the core mission statement.

  1. Church government. Essential for communication, the running of church life and support of ministry.
  2. The 4 areas of discipleship; personal devotion, 1 to 1, small groups, Sunday services.
  3. Multiplying ministries of mercy. We must seek to encourage disciples with vision to start and run all sorts of ministries.

Great breakout and diagram model. I believe things that help simplify the work of the church are good and God honoring. Your work here certainly fits that.
