Bible by the Beach – Kent Hughes

I didn’t jot much down in Kent Hughes’ talk on 1 Peter 1 at Bible by the Beach, not because what Kent said wasn’t good, just that it was then end of the day.

BBTB Kent Hughes.
Today there is a network of 80 church planters in Chicago with the aim of planting a gospel proclaiming community in every community.

1 Peter 1

The universe is vast.
Jesus created it by his word.
Jesus entered his world to do the hardest thing ever for you and me.

Our being born again into a living hope is by the same resurrection power that raised Christ.

Clean, pure and lovely will be the existence of all who see Christ as he is. Kent is almost 70 and knows what it is like to fade away. The resurrected will never fade away.
